As for the number of cases, there were 13,553 in the last 24 hours. Since the start of the pandemic, there have been 36,807,814 positive tests.

Cases of coronavirus infection continue to decline. This means that the Omicron sub-variants are losing power. Despite this, it is essential that all citizens are vaccinated against COVID-19.
A new vaccination campaign against COVID-19 will be launched in Brazil in February. The most vulnerable populations will be immunised with bivalent vaccines that provide protection against more than one variant of the coronavirus, as reported by TV CULTURA, a partner of TV BRICS.
