Cuba to promote international cooperation at Ibero-American summit
Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla said the 28th Ibero-American Summit of Heads of State and Government in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, will be an opportunity to take international cooperation to a new level, boosting cooperation among Latin American countries.
He stressed that Cuba, as President of G77+China, is committed to promoting inclusive and sustainable cooperation.
The event, which took place on 24-25 March, is an opportunity to achieve a more just, democratic and equitable international order, as reported by teleSUR, a partner of TV BRICS.
In his social media, the minister mentioned that "the transfer of funds and technology to developing countries can and should be facilitated as well as ensuring equal access to resources to reverse the current huge inequalities."
It should be noted that 14 presidents, two vice-presidents, two prime ministers and 22 foreign ministers attended this year's Ibero-American summit, which agreed on important documents aimed at ensuring the region's development.
