RF CCI organises multisectoral business mission to India on 3-7 April

Promoting the development of international cooperation in the new environment, supporting domestic companies in entering new markets, searching for alternative suppliers of goods and services, and solving the problems of ensuring conditions for further sustainable development is currently a priority in the work of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation with partners abroad.

Today we see the increased mutual interest of Russian and Indian entrepreneurs in developing and deepening cooperation, realizing the potential of the entire range of economic relations between our countries.

On 3-7 April, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation will conduct a multi-sectoral business mission to India. The host is the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of India's partner organization in the country, the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI).

The event is held under the patronage of the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation Sergei Katyrin. He leads the Russian delegation, which includes about 120 entrepreneurs, more than 90 companies from 30 regions of Russia. The companies mainly represent medium-sized businesses, and it is on this segment that the stability of trade and economic cooperation primarily depends.

In terms of its scale, level of representation and the number of participants from the Russian regions, this visit will be the largest business event under the auspices of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry on the joint agenda with the Indians.

This format, due to the scale of the delegation and the level of leadership, the practical focus of the business programme, ensures a high interest in participation among Indian business circles - over 400 Indian entrepreneurs will take part in meetings with the Russian delegation. The multiplier effect of business contacts achieved in this way allows not only to ensure a good practical return on a business mission, but also gives a good impetus to the subsequent development of interregional ties.

The main objectives of the visit are to strengthen relations with business associations of India, promote the establishment of direct contacts between domestic businesses and the Indian business community, as well as familiarize themselves with new opportunities for cooperation.

Considering the significance of the importance of exhibitions as one of the most important tools for promoting mutual trade, will be held a presentation of the programme of exhibition events of Expocentre for 2023.

It is expected that the business mission of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry to India will provide a powerful incentive for further expansion of Russian-Indian business cooperation.
