TV BRICS channel expands the TV project network telling about economic, scientific and technical cooperation of the five countries
“We recall that our countries produce more than a third of the global agricultural output and emphasize BRICS role and responsibility in ensuring the sustainability of the agriculture and food sector, global food security and nutrition.” - XII BRICS Summit Moscow Declaration.
TV BRICS actively cooperates with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) by providing information support for events. In 2020, the TV channel covered the events of the seminar Preventing Food Waste, Promoting Circular Economy.
Since 2020, TV BRICS cooperates with the main agricultural media in Brazil - Terra Viva and AgroMais TV channels. This year, they launched a broadcast of a program dedicated to import-export relations in agricultural product sector between the BRICS countries.
The Summit participants noted the progress made in the implementation of the BRICS Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) Framework Program, which has helped attract numerous BRICS financial institutions and support over a hundred BRICS projects in various fields. Cooperation of the BRICS countries in the field of STI is reflected in the TV BRICS media projects. The TV channel launched a project on scientific and technical cooperation between Russia and China. Roscongress Foundation, TV BRICS and Rosatom have presented a new joint project, Quantum of the Future.
Participants of the XII BRICS Summit recognized that tourism is an important driving force of BRICS economies, mentioned the negative consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic for this industry and expressed their hope for the continuation of the five-way dialogue on cooperation in tourism industry.
As part of expanding international cooperation in the field of tourism, TV BRICS Network has launched its own project supported by Rostourism telling about travelling in Russia - the Checklist travel show. TV BRICS makes exclusive screenings of unique films promoting tourism in South Africa (Durban. Seeing More), Brazil (Vitrine Brasil in the Portuguese version of the site), China (Seasons, Life in Chengdu), India (My India).
