Brazilian team participates in the International Chemistry Olympiad for high school students
The Mendeleev Olympiad is one of the most important international competitions for young chemists. Students from Brazil, Hungary, Austria, Israel, Russia, Uzbekistan and other countries met in Kazakhstan.
The tasks of the 57th International School Chemistry Olympiad are unique each year. They are designed by the members of the jury themselves. These are not school or university-level examples. Rather, they are an intellectual art, said Philipp Ilievsky, a jury member of the Mendeleev Competition for Chemistry Students. It's not just the participants' knowledge that counts, but their imagination and creativity.
Our story tells how students were selected for the International Olympiad in Chemistry and who will bring home the gold medal.
