India celebrated a colourful Holi festival
India celebrated Holi, or Bengali New Year, with a colourful parade of songs, dances and fun. The locals held a colourful parade accompanied by folk songs, dances and general merriment. Traditionally, Holi participants shower each other with coloured powders of red, green, pink, and yellow, and throw coloured water on each other.
