A digital TV host was invented in China

The work of a TV host is no longer a human monopoly. This was proved by the Chinese partners of the project in the field of artificial intelligence – the State News Agency "Xinhua" and the Sogou Internet Company. They presented their achievement at the fifth world conference on Internet governance held in China.

Hologram, similar to the famous Chinese TV host Qiu Hao, is able to read a text. Its facial expressions are almost the same as human ones. At the presentation, the digital TV host told about its creators and the principles of artificial intelligence.

The developers themselves reported that before the show the digital journalist needs to be downloaded with the finished text only. The hologram itself will read it with the previously learned facial expressions of a particular person.

The digital TV host, of course, is in many ways inferior to a human colleague. But it has a number of undoubted advantages: it works all day long, it does not make mistakes, it does not get sick and does not ask to correct the makeup.
