Foreign party leaders praise China's support in global anti-virus fight

Political party leaders from around the world have recently expressed their appreciation for the Communist Party of China (CPC) for sharing China's experience and practices in its combat against COVID-19.

While successfully curbing the spread of the virus at home, China has been doing all it can to support and help other countries in need, which fully shows the spirit of a community with a shared future for mankind that asks all to stick together and help each other, they said in messages addressed to the International Department of the CPC Central Committee.

Former Japanese Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama spoke highly of China's astonishing speed and striking measures taken in its anti-virus battle under the firm leadership of Xi Jinping, general secretary of the CPC Central Committee, adding that China has achieved a major victory over the disease.
Hatoyama said the Japanese people have been deeply touched by China's helping hand when Japan is short of medical supplies, and greatly moved by the CPC's sharing of China's anti-epidemic experience and practices in letters sent to Japan.

China's actions are a true picture of the Xi-proposed vision of a community with a shared future for mankind, he said.

Sompong Amornvivat, leader of both Thailand's Pheu Thai Party and the Opposition in the House of Representatives, expressed his congratulations to China, which, under Xi's leadership, has achieved major progress in its anti-virus fight.

Sompong also thanked China for sending medical experts and donating medical supplies to other countries, adding that the Pheu Thai Party will join hands with the CPC to adhere to an open and inclusive multilateralism, build a global partnership featuring mutual respect and trust, fight together against the disease, and safeguard public health and security.

President of Workers Party of Bangladesh Rashed Khan Menon said that under the wise leadership of Xi Jinping, general secretary of the CPC Central Committee, China has contained the spread of the virus in the shortest time and restored normal production and life order, which has set an example for the whole world.

Menon thanked the Chinese side for actively offering protective equipment to Bangladesh, adding that countries worldwide should learn from China's successful anti-virus experience, and that he foresees bright prospects for China taking the lead in the global fight against the disease.

Ace Magashule, secretary-general of South Africa's ruling African National Congress party, said that under the leadership of the CPC Central Committee with Xi at the core, China has fought the epidemic with remarkable efficiency, strength and determination, which has injected confidence and hope into the world in prevailing over the epidemic.

It is touching that China has taken the initiative to extend a helping hand to countries and people seriously affected by the virus, he added.

Binalf Andualem, head of Ethiopian Prosperity Party Main Office, said China's success in containing the spread of the epidemic has offered important experience for the international community.

The Prosperity Party stands ready to join hands with the CPC to fight the epidemic and safeguard the health of people so as to achieve common prosperity, he added.
