"Slave Izaura" - will be the official representative of the Russian TV BRICS

A legendary Brazilian actress,Lucelia Santos, who acted a part of slave Izaura in the famous TV series, comes to Russiafor the first time. She is ready to support the initiative of the Russian TV BRICS media to create a single international editorial board of the BRICS countries.


A legendary Brazilian actress,Lucelia Santos, who acted a part of slave Izaura in the famous TV series, comes to Russiafor the first time. She is ready to support the initiative of the Russian TV BRICS media to create a single international editorial board of the BRICS countries.

Exactly 30 years have passedsince the release of the series "Slave Izaura" on Soviet, including Russian TV screens. But in Brazil, the telenovela was first on TV screen12 years earlier, in 1976. And thereafter only, the series was released worldwide, making the beginning actress Lucelia Santos a world star.

Lucelia Santos still remains popular in the film industry of Brazil so far. Today there are dozens of television and film roles, as well as a great experience on the stage in the background of the actress. Lucelia Santos is an actress, a film director of documentaries, a producer of TV projects on cross-cultural nature. She is a constant character of the author's television projects of one of the largest public educational channels in Brazil – TV CULTURA.

In October 2018, TV CULTURA holding signed an agreement with the Russian TV BRICS media on information exchange and cooperation. TV CULTURA supported the initiative of the Russian company MKR-Media to create a single international editorial board of TV BRICS. Two months after the signing of a Memorandum onCooperation,Lucelia Santos accepted the invitation of the Russian partners to come to Moscow to tell the general public about the importance of creating a unified communications system media of the BRICS countries.

"Dear friends! My first visit to Moscow is coming, and I look forward to it. At the beginning of my career, when I was studying the theatre arts, and in particular Stanislavsky's theory, I wanted to visit Russia, to study its culture and traditions from the inside. Then I could not imagine that I would be so popular in Russia, and now it is joyful and honorable for me to become an Ambassador of TV BRICS", - Ms. Santos comments on her upcoming visit.

TV BRICS creative team will prepare a documentary about the first visit of the legendary actress to Russia.
Press conference with the actress will be held on December 24, 2018 at 11: 00 in the press center of TASS.

Meeting with fans and autograph session of the actress will be held in the Moscow Book Centrein NovyArbat on the same day, December 24, at 17:00.
