TV BRICS has become a partner of the INTERNATIONAL INNOVATIVE FILM FESTIVAL in India
TV BRICS has become a partner of the III International Festival of Innovative Cinema in Bangalore (India). Within the framework of the film screening, BRICS TV will present an extensive program of its own best documentaries from the BRICS countries. In total - 8 works from directors from Brazil, Russia, China and South Africa, including TV BRICS own documentary “Unknown Stalingrad”.
“Unknown Stalingrad” is a documentary by Anastasia Shkitina and Andrei Gula, created to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Second World War. The main characters of the film are veterans from Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. These countries have their own Stalingrad. The city has become not only a battlefield, but also a symbol of the Second World War.
This year the Bangalore festival will feature almost 78 films of different formats and genres: short films, documentary films, feature films, comedies, dramas, thrillers, and biographical films.
Among the films presented - 29 films of Indian production, 3 films from Thailand, 11 - from Iran, 3 - from Spain, 1 feature film from Indonesia, 5 films from Italy, 7 - from England (including several animated films), 2 - from Israel, 4 - from France, 1 - from Malaysia, 2 more films will be presented by the Russian Center for Culture and Science in Chennai (India) Rossotrudnichestvo – “Panfilov's 28 Men”, “Ivan Poddubny”.
The festival will take place from 25 to 27 December. Among the main partners of the event is the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting of India.
The festival will take place in online and offline formats with live screenings on the territory of the “film city” - the Film City theme park, which occupies more than 200 thousand square meters, which has been functioning since 2008. Various locations will be available to the guests of the film festival: film and television studios, production bases for filming TV shows, a theme park with an attendance of more than 600 thousand people a day and an innovative film academy at the University of Bangalore.
The goal of the festival is to create an international platform for cooperation between regional, national and international film and TV producers. The participating countries are invited to demonstrate their achievements in the field of cinema and culture in order to make possible international cooperation in this area.
