TV BRICS to support the campaign of the UN Department of Global Communications and FAO
TV BRICS will take part in an information campaign organized by the UN Department of Global Communications and FAO.
The international network, as an information partner, joins an information campaign launched by the UN Department of Global Communications and FAO in cooperation with the DreamWorks film studio. The campaign is in support of Sustainable Development Goal 2 (SDG 2): "End hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition, and promote sustainable agriculture."
The #TrollsFoodHeroes International Information Campaign (#ТроллиГероиПродовольственногоФронта) is a joint product of the United Nations Department of Global Communications, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the UN Foundation and the animated film studio DreamWorks Animation. The main characters, as the name of the campaign implies, are funny trolls, familiar to us all from the films "Trolls" and "Trolls. World Tour."
In a relaxed and accessible form for any age, multi-colored trolls will talk about healthy eating and advise the audience to eat more fruit and vegetables of all kinds. Trolls will also talk about how not to throw away food and make food more balanced and healthy – and, at the same time, to improve the health of the planet. The videos will be available in TV BRICS accounts in social networks.
"In addition, those who want to continue communicating with trolls can register on the un.org/ActNow website or install the ActNow application on their phones. In the next few days, both the website and the application, created for those who want to contribute to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, will be "invaded" by trolls," commented the UN Information Center in Moscow.
Earlier, BRICS TV supported the UN Verified action, as well as a media campaign covering the 15th meeting of the members of the Convention on Biological Diversity under the auspices of the UN.
