BRICS virtual meeting of foreign ministers

At a virtual meeting with representatives of the major emerging economies known as BRICS, Chinese State Council member and Foreign Minister Wang Yi chatted with his counterparts. He touched on President Xi Jinping's global security initiative and called for progress among developing countries.

The foreign minsters meeting will pave the way for the leaders' meeting, tentatively scheduled for the end of June. Watch our video for more details.
