Top managers of BRICS and African media companies visited the GITR Film & Television School

During the BRICS Global Media Tour. Russian Edition, delegates of foreign media visited the GITR Film & Television School which is a partner of the business programme of BRICS Global Media Tour. Russian Edition and one of the leading Russian TV schools.

The heads of the leading media editorial offices from China, India, South Africa, Brazil, Zimbabwe and Mozambique were given a tour of the university's radio room, film room and film set. They were also able to get acquainted with the educational programme for future journalists, exchange experience with Russian colleagues and answer students' questions.

The media tour was organised by the BRICS-Media Association in cooperation with the international TV BRICS network with grant support from the Gorchakov Foundation.

The central event during the visit to GITR was the panel discussion "Contemporary Challenges in Journalism". In our video, we tell what issues the representatives of foreign media companies discussed with the institute's professors.
