Entrepreneurs from Russia will be able to participate in the BRICS+ International Forum for free

Organisers are expecting 4,000 attendees at the business event

The organising committee of the BRICS+ International Municipal Forum will give free entry to small business representatives from all over the country. There is 28 people quota per region. Applications are accepted until 31 May. This is reported on the BRICS National Research Committee website.

"Due to the external economic situation in the world, cooperation with Arab, Asian, Latin American and African countries is considered one of the priority areas of today. In this regard, it was decided to allocate quotas for each subject of the Russian Federation to participate in the paid economic event free of charge," said Mikhail Cherepanov, chairman of the Organising Committee.

He said that letters inviting governors of all Russian regions to participate in the Forum had already been sent to each subject to form a delegation and identify the entrepreneurs they would like to support.

"In this way, our platform will be an effective tool for business and will help to find new contacts, connections and partners for future cooperation both in export-import and other areas," Cherepanov added. He also stressed that 50 countries will join the Forum in 2022.

This year's Forum has been included in the official calendar of events of the Chinese BRICS Chairmanship, but it will be held in St Petersburg at the "ExpoForum" Exhibition Centre on 24-25 November.

Organisers are expecting 4,000 attendees in person and 15,000 online connections at the business event venues. The hybrid format will allow to host more than 160 sessions.

The Forum will include a business programme, an exhibition, online sessions, and a leisure programme: the "Miss BRICS" international municipal beauty pageant and the "BRICS Patron of the Year" award ceremony.
