Moscow Expocentre hosts High Tech Week
High-tech novelties were appreciated by the visitors of the Russian high-tech week. Domestic and foreign manufacturers presented a wide variety of products at the Moscow Expocentre - from communication devices to power grid equipment, and even space equipment.
The exhibition, for example, showcased a development that is already ready for production - a stabiliser for the ship's antenna. The device ensures that the satellite signal is not lost even in a storm, special drives compensate for vessel vibrations. Specialists have been preparing the project for several years.
"The interface allows you to work from both a computer and a smartphone. It is possible to connect and view the current antenna operation parameters and event log. In the event of a malfunction, the device that failed will also be displayed and identified,” said Oleg Krutyakov, lead engineer of the exhibiting company.
Also, the Expocentre presented robots that navigate according to pre-set coordinates and run on batteries. The developer is a Russian company, today there are already 6 models in its lineup.
"One harvesting robot. The second robot for inspection. The third one is spraying robot. The fourth robot is a lift. The fifth one is a patrolling robot. The sixth robot is a tractor,” Alexander Gavrilov, CEO of the exhibiting company, described the functions of smart machines.
The exhibition leaves no doubt that almost any device can be smart today. Even a barrier - a model that lets through after recognising the driver's face or car number plate was unveiled at the Expocentre. The parking garage will notify you of available spaces and warn you if your car is stolen. One of the manufacturer's new products is a smart intercom.
"It dials the right flat number, the owner of the flat receives a video call in the mobile app. The owner can open from the application using a button. Or if the owner arrives, the intercom recognises them from a photo that is already loaded into the system, and automatically opens the door," says Anastasia Maltseva, an employee of the exhibiting company.
