UAE President during his visit to Russia: we always strive to strengthen ties between our countries
He added that trade turnover between the two countries reached US$11.5 billion
Talks are underway in Moscow between the UAE's and Russian Presidents, Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Vladimir Putin.
During the bilateral meeting, Vladimir Putin noted the maintenance of contacts at a high political level, the strengthening of economic ties, and the growth of mutual investments.
"Relations between your sovereign fund and the Russian Direct Investment Fund are developing well. We thank you for the trust you place in Russian specialists in the field of investment activities, and this area is also under our attention and is yielding results"![]()

Vladimir Putin also noted the high level of cooperation in education and culture.
The Russian leader emphasised the active cooperation between the two countries in international forums, including the UN, as well as the UAE's participation in BRICS and its partnership with the Eurasian Economic Community (EAEC).
The UAE President, in turn, said that trade between Eurasian countries and the UAE had reached US$30 billion. He expressed hope that this amount would double in the next five years.
