FAO’s 80th anniversary: how global agriculture changes
The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations is marking its anniversary. Over the decades, 194 countries have joined the organisation, and its initiatives are helping to develop agriculture worldwide. In Lesotho, for example, support is being provided to farmers growing potatoes, while in Nigeria investment is being directed into the development of fish-farming operations.
