Laboratorium. Biosensor for instant diagnostics
Imagine a device the size of a fingernail, capable of instantly detecting the presence of a virus or bacterium anywhere in the world. This is not science fiction, but a reality created by Russian scientists. A biosensor developed at the Institute of Synthetic Polymer Materials, with the support of a grant from the Russian Science Foundation, identifies threats within seconds. And, unlike PCR tests, it does not require complex equipment.
How does this technology work – one that could save thousands of lives in the future?
