The BRICS countries are discussing the harmonisation of environmental standards. For instance, efforts to recognise Russian organic certificates have already led to an increase in exports of relevant products to China. This was stated by Maksim Protasov, Head of Roskachestvo, in an exclusive interview at the TV BRICS studio in the Roscongress International Cooperation Area at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).
