Ethiopia plans to digitally transform 620 government agencies

Aiming to expedite the growth of the digital economy, some 620 public sector entities will be digitalized. This is reported by ENA.

According to the source, Ethiopia has achieved great productivity in a number of industries, including telecommunications, thanks to its national digital initiatives.

Belete Molla, the Ethiopian Minister of Innovation and Technology, claims that steps are being taken to build infrastructure and advance expertise in the field of digital technologies in order to implement the digital economy.

Furthermore, the Ministry, in collaboration with pertinent authorities, has initiated a programme aimed at enhancing digital literacy among college students. The first phase of the programme is expected to involve 10,000 youth.
