India's Central Board of Secondary Education uses AI to analyse marks among students

Schools are being asked to reassess their internal assessment processes by the state

With the aid of cutting-edge artificial intelligence (AI) methods, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) of India has discovered that over 50 per cent of students have a substantial discrepancy between their theoretical and practical grades in some areas. This is reported by ANI, a partner of TV BRICS.

Based on statistics from past years, the artificial intelligence programme was able to detect grade inconsistencies in about 500 CES schools. This confirmed that, with the help of technology, more thorough assessments are possible during practical tests in schools.

The Council recommended that educational institutions analyse their internal assessment processes using AI.

The recommendation aims to provide a clearer and more reliable mechanism that will ensure the correctness of the assessment procedure and significantly increase the value of the student's academic path.
