Indian Ministry to promote accessible healthcare

India is strengthening citizen protection⁠

In an effort to support accessible healthcare in the nation, the Ayush Ministry has announced the opening of an awareness-raising programme for executives of insurance companies and Ayush hospital owners. This is reported by IANS, a partner of TV BRICS.

According to the government, the programme also attempts to increase the ability of both public and private Ayush hospitals in India to secure insurance coverage.

Along with discussing the legal structure and policy support required to include Ayush therapy in health insurance plans, the programme will also foster communication amongst important stakeholders to address opportunities as well as problems.
