Ministry of Health of Egypt and National Training Academy sign a co-operation document
Egypt’s Minister of Health and Population, Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, and Executive Director of the National Academy for Training and Rehabilitation of Youth, Rasha Ragheb, have entered into a partnership agreement.
The ministry said the initiative is in line with its commitment to providing high quality health services and developing the health system. It aims to improve the administrative, leadership, clinical and medical skills of staff to achieve development goals and contribute to the country's economic and social development plans. As part of this co-operation, the academy will provide advice on administrative reform and training in public administration, policy, leadership, sustainable development, etiquette and media relations.
The ministry's spokesman, Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, emphasised that the ministry will provide lectures on first aid, disease prevention, health education, drug handling, quality control, infection control and health economics.
In addition, the ministry will support trainees and graduates of the academy in their participation in presidential health initiatives, including early detection programmes and regular blood donation drives.
Abdel Ghaffar also mentioned the establishment of a joint committee that will monitor the implementation of the agreement and evaluate its effectiveness.
