Modi states that India becomes major player in global automobile and electronics market

The official said that the world is interested in learning from India's success story

India is undergoing a transformation to become one of the leading manufacturers and exporters of automobiles and electronics. This was stated by country's Prime Minister Narendra Modi, emphasising that the country is now manufacturing a wide range of products. This is reported by IANS, a partner of TV BRICS.

Speaking at a media event, Modi said that India's leadership in various sectors is the result of years of work and consistent policies. The Prime Minister also pointed out the significant progress made in the last 10 years in infrastructure development, which has had a positive impact on the automobile industry by reducing the time and cost of logistics.

Modi highlighted the growing demand for automobiles and support for the production of electric vehicles, emphasising that India is becoming a trusted partner in the global supply chain.

He stated that affordable data has boosted the demand for mobile phones, and the increased availability of services on mobile phones has led to higher consumption of digital devices.

Modi also noted that Indian products such as turmeric and coffee are gaining global recognition. India is the largest supplier of turmeric in the world and the seventh largest exporter of coffee.
