New Space Africa 2024 conference to be held in Angola
From 2 to 5 April, Angola will host the third New Space Africa 2024 conference, a place to share experiences and create business opportunities
The event will bring together more than 400 delegates from 44 countries, including CEOs, representatives of national space agencies, industry leaders, companies and stakeholders from all segments of the African space industry.
The initiative will create a dialogue between policy makers and entrepreneurs towards enhancing the development of the industry and its application in finding solutions to societal challenges. This is reported by Prensa Latina, a partner of TV BRICS.
In this regard, it was noted that under the theme "The Role of Space in Bridging the Poverty Gap in Africa", discussions, masterclasses and 30 exhibitors will be organised.
Space agencies from Europe and China as well as leading companies in the sector will be present to discuss the transformative potential of space initiatives in addressing socio-economic inequalities in Africa.
The meeting could be a favourable scenario for attracting foreign investment not only for Angola but for the whole continent.
