Russian President Vladimir Putin meets with Chinese Premier Li Qiang

Russia and China have developed large-scale plans for cooperation in various spheres for many years to come, President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin said at a meeting with Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Li Qiang.

"Our states have worked out large-scale joint plans, projects in economic and humanitarian spheres, we expect that for many years ahead," Putin said at the meeting.

As the head of state specified, the relevant benchmarks were defined during his talks with Xi Jinping this year.

In addition, the Russian leader once again invited the Chinese delegation headed by Chinese Vice President Han Zheng to visit the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok in September. This is reported by the official website of the Russian President.

Putin said mutual trade between Moscow and Beijing is successfully developing, noting the positive work of the two governments in this direction.

Premier of the State Council of the People's Republic of China Li Qiang has conveyed to Russian President Vladimir Putin greetings from Chinese President Xi Jinping.

"First of all, let me convey to you the sincere greetings and good wishes from Chinese President Xi Jinping," Li Qiang said.

Li Qiang also highlighted the steady growth of the Russian economy during his meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

"We are ready to fully implement the summit agreements with you together and continuously expand multifaceted mutually beneficial cooperation"

Li Qiang came to Russia at the invitation of his counterpart Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. Before meeting with the Russian leader, the two premiers held the 29th regular meeting of Russian and Chinese government leaders, discussing the expansion of trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
