The New Theory of Substance Change by Russian Scientists Will Prove Useful in Space
Mathematicians of the Ural Federal University undertook the creation of mathematical models which will describe processes of hardening of fusions and solutions under the influence of various factors. The mathematical models can explain how various substances, e.g. drugs, will behave in space, reports the tvbrics.com correspondent with a reference to rg.ru.
The developed theory will be exclusively useful in biophysics, medicine, materials science, and engineering. Also, the results of work of the UrFU scientists will be useful in nanotech industry and at developing of materials with new properties.
At present, researchers work over the process in substances, similar to water freezing in lakes and lava hardening. Scientists are building a mathematical model of a substance and substitute the necessary characteristics in it in order to calculate properties for a specific objective, for example, space flight. This approach will help to create materials with necessary hardness, viscosity, durability, and other characteristics.
