UAE and Brazil sign agreement to enhance air safety standards

The UAE General Civil Aviation Authority has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation in civil aviation safety with Brazil’s National Civil Aviation Agency, reports the Emirates News Agency (WAM), a partner of TV BRICS.

The MoU aims to strengthen cooperation between the two countries on civil aviation safety policies and standards, including the exchange of information, visits, expertise, and training, while supporting the adoption of global best practices in the sector.

The accompanying work plan focuses on practical implementation, enabling coordination on approvals, mutual recognition of compliance certificates and technical reports, and enhancing operational efficiency to maintain the highest safety standards. 

The agreements are expected to strengthen joint relations and further position both countries on the global aviation map, stressed the report.
