UAE explores development of digital business models for government
The second iteration of the UAE Government Digital Readiness Retreat was introduced by the Higher Committee for Government Digital Transformation. This was reported by Emirates News Agency (WAM), a partner of TV BRICS.
The primary objectives of the event were to outline the phases of the government's digital transformation, investigate contemporary digital business models for government, do away with digital red tape and promote national digital integration.
Four digital initiatives were introduced at the seminar, along with the first report on the government's digital transformation ever presented.
With an emphasis on accessibility and user experience, the Ministry of Economy is carrying out the digital transformation of all services offered to people, organisations, businesses, and governmental bodies. The UAE Ministry of Economy was the first federal organisation to fully transition to digital delivery for all of its services.
In order to achieve a new turning point in the UAE's digital transformation, the Digital Readiness Retreat emphasises how crucial it is to improve coordination and integration across all local and federal government agencies across all domains.
The first government digital community, the high-performance computing engine at UAE University, unified design guidelines for government websites and portals were introduced during the UAE Digital Readiness Retreat.
