Dmitry Shadrin, Head of Artificial Intelligence Centre at Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology: “Russia is ready to share its experience in application of artificial intelligence technologies with BRICS countries”

The application of artificial intelligence is actively taking over new areas. For example, the Russian project for forecasting natural fires was among the three most promising developments, according to the jury at the BRICS Young Innovator Prize.

What is this technology? Which BRICS countries are interested in it? And what are the first results of its application?

Dmitry Shadrin, the creator of the project on natural fire forecasting and Head of the Artificial Intelligence Centre at Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology, talked about this in a BRICSterview.

No country is capable of countering cross-border ICT threats on its own. There is a need to develop common rules of the game applicable to all, which would regulate the actions of states and their companies in the digital sphere.
