Special Report. XI International Tchaikovsky competition for young musicians
The winners of the very first International Tchaikovsky Youth Competition were named 30 years ago in the Moscow State Conservatory. Later this musical competition was greeted with applause in various cities around the world. The competition celebrated its anniversary symbolically: it returned to the place where it all began. During its existence, it has grown to become the largest professional competition for young musicians on the planet, and it is the dream of violinists, cellists and pianists from all over the world to win. This year, the first two rounds were held online. They were attended by 128 young virtuosos from 14 countries. The 27 strongest competitors took part in the final round.
