Triumph of male dance: legendary ballet Spartacus at Bolshoi Theatre

This production, which has become the Bolshoi Theatre’s signature piece, was staged by choreographer Yuri Grigorovich in 1968. To this day, dancers consider the roles in this ballet to be among the most challenging for a dancer.
