My India. Wildlife conservation
India is strengthening its efforts to protect biodiversity through scientific research and innovative conservation practices aimed at preserving fragile ecosystems. At the Wildlife Institute of India in Dehradun, young researchers and scientists are studying everything from soil microbes and forest ecosystems to tiger populations and habitat management, helping to better understand the impact of climate change and growing human–wildlife interaction. Combining advanced technology with extensive fieldwork, these projects support conservation strategies focused on endangered species, protected areas, and sustainable coexistence between people and nature.
