1,000 educational institutions to join the BRICS unified scientific and educational system
The document on the creation of the BRICS scientific and educational system was assured by Purnima Anand, President of the BRICS International Forum, and Konstantin Klimenko, Rector of the Eurasian University, as reported by the "Bolshaya Aziya" portal.
It is planned to form a common scientific and educational network of the Five states. It will include about 1000 different educational institutions - universities, colleges, institutes. The network will enable students and teaching staff to continue their studies and work by travelling across different countries without compromising the quality and continuity of the educational process.
Work is also planned to create an alternative to the Bologna system and a procedure and criteria for mutual recognition of diplomas by the countries of the association. This will facilitate freer movement of students and teachers between all the countries of the bloc, bring students closer together, and promote the development of science within BRICS.
The final agreements on the joint scientific and educational system will be signed at the international forum.
