China plans to accelerate the development of industrialisation

This is necessary to provide a solid foundation for the country's modernisation

China will focus on building a modern industrial system based on advanced manufacturing. This is reported by CGTN, a partner of TV BRICS.

Deepening the integration of the real economy with the digital economy, strengthening the sustainability and security of industrial and supply chains, and supporting the high-quality growth of small and medium-sized enterprises will be promoted, said Chinese Minister of Industry and Information Technology Jin Zhuanglong.

He stressed that the country will implement major technological upgrading and equipment renovation projects in the manufacturing sector, and enhance the competitiveness of all parts of the industrial chain in areas such as smart cars with new energy sources and lithium batteries.

The minister added that new sources of economic growth will be developed, including bio-manufacturing, commercial aerospace and the low-altitude economy, as well as new areas such as humanoid robots, 6G and nuclear manufacturing.
