Ethiopian government plans to produce 150 million chicks, 12 billion litres of milk, 218,000 tonnes of chicken meat, 8 billion eggs, more than 12,000 tonnes of fish and 297,000 tonnes of honey.
Ethiopia, the world's third largest coffee producer, plans to export between 450,000 and 500,000 tonnes of coffee this year and open 20 tea processing factories. The country has also stepped up production of sesame, almonds, soya beans and bananas, building its agricultural capacity to support economic growth and boost exports.
