Ethiopia announces launch of new development strategy for capital city

It aims to transform and develop new concepts such as smart and compact city

Adanech Abiebie, Mayor of Ethiopia's capital city Addis Ababa, has announced the launch of a new urban development strategy. It will ensure sustainable and long-term progress for Addis Ababa.

She emphasised that the initiative is a strategic move to help integrate current efforts and develop new directions in urban planning. This is reported by ENA, a partner of TV BRICS

The mayor noted that this strategic initiative not only contributes to the creation of new concepts such as smart city and compact city, but will also increase the possibility of attracting resources for the sustainable development of the city.
