Experts: Kenya to gain new opportunities if it joins BRICS

Earlier, the country's President William Ruto stated that Kenya is interested in participating in the group's cooperation mechanisms

Experts believe that Kenya could benefit from joining BRICS. This is reported by China Daily, a partner of TV BRICS.

The publication quotes Xn Iraki, Associate Professor at the University of Nairobi's Faculty of Business and Management Sciences, who said that the African country has everything necessary to join the group, which aims to strengthen cooperation and coordination among its members in areas such as the economy, politics, and diplomacy.

“Kenya has good economic and diplomatic relationships currently with the BRICS members,” Iraki said.

It is noted that the republic’s membership in the group could grant the country access to advanced technologies, boost industrial development, and contribute to sustainable economic growth.
