Prime Minister Narendra Modi has congratulated President Droupadi Murmu

President of India Droupadi Murmu celebrates her 66th birthday today.

On the anniversary of her birthday, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated President Droupadi Murmu, saying, "Today I prayed for the welfare of all countrymen and for our country to continue to set new standards of progress. India will always be grateful to Droupadi Murmu for her tireless endeavours and visionary leadership". This was announced by the president's office.

Droupadi Murmu was initially nominated by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) as the National Democratic Alliance's (NDA) candidate for the post of president in the 2022 elections.

Following this, Droupadi Murmu was administered the oath of office as the 15th President of India on July 25, 2022.

There is a need to develop common rules of the game applicable to all, which would regulate the actions of states and their companies in the digital sphere.
