Media network announces the establishment of the TV BRICS International Symphony Orchestra

The orchestra included leading musicians from Russia, China and BRICS+ countries. The team will be focused on the implementation of landmark musical projects of the BRICS and BRICS+ countries.

The TV BRICS orchestra is designed to popularize world musical art and will consider in its activities the experience of the largest national media structures that have their own symphony orchestras: BBC (Great Britain); ZDF, WDR, NDR (Germany); NHK (Japan); Gosteleradio USSR (Soviet Union) and its current successor Radio “Orpheus” (Russia).

The appearance of the orchestra will strengthen the promotion of the achievements of the BRICS countries in the field of culture, musical art and classical music in the global media space.

The artistic director and chief conductor of the TV BRICS new International Symphony Orchestra has become the director, artistic director and chief conductor of the State Philharmonic of St. Petersburg for children and youth, artistic director of the international orchestra "Tavrichesky" Mikhail Golikov.
