More than 100 international tour operators gather in Iran to boost cultural tourism
A major five-day tourism event has begun in Isfahan, bringing together 100 tour operators from 25 countries to explore the city's rich cultural heritage and discuss strategies for enhancing global tourism cooperation. This is reported by Tehran Times, a partner of TV BRICS.
The event, titled the "Isfahan Tour Operator Meeting," is organised by the Isfahan Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines, and Agriculture in collaboration with government agencies and private sector representatives. It aims to showcase Isfahan’s historical landmarks, strengthen its international tourism appeal, and foster deeper engagement between industry professionals.
Isfahan officials underscored the growing demand for cultural experiences and pointed out that Isfahan, with its deep-rooted craft traditions, offers opportunities for cultural storytelling in tourism.
As a historic crossroads of trade and diplomacy, Isfahan remains one of the country’s top tourist attractions, renowned for its Islamic architecture, bazaars, Persian gardens, and tree-lined boulevards, the source claims.
