More than 20 cooperation agreements signed following meeting between Chinese and Russian leaders
Putin congratulates Chinese side on successful SCO summit
Moscow and Beijing have signed more than 20 cooperation agreements following talks between Chinese President Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin. The documents cover the fields of energy, artificial intelligence, agriculture, aerospace, healthcare, science, education, and the media. This is reported by the official website of the Chinese Foreign Ministry.
Xi Jinping expressed his readiness for closer high-level contacts with Russia and coordination on key issues affecting the interests of both countries. He also stressed that the parties intend to expand ties in the United Nations (UN), the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO), BRICS, the Group of Twenty (G20), and other multilateral platforms.
"We are ready to work with you to support each other in national development and prosperity, to resolutely defend international justice and equality, and to promote the formation of a more just and rational global governance system"![]()

Putin, in turn, congratulated the Chinese side on the successful holding of the SCO summit in Tianjin. According to him, the meeting, at which the leaders made a number of important decisions, gave a powerful impetus to the development of the organisation.

Earlier, a trilateral meeting was held between Xi Jinping, Putin and Mongolian President Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh. The Mongolian leader announced that the implementation period for the economic corridor programme from Russia to China via Mongolia had been extended until 2031.
