TV BRICS and the Ministry of Education of the State of Rio de Janeiro outline a cooperation plan
On Monday, 26 June, Polina Minaeva, manager of international projects of TV BRICS, held a working meeting with representatives of the Ministry of Education of the State of Rio de Janeiro on bilateral cooperation.
The parties will help each other to promote Russian language, exchange experiences, build new business contacts and launch joint educational projects and initiatives.
TV BRICS initiated informational interaction with educational institutions in the BRICS+ countries in order to promote new integration mechanisms of cooperation between the BRICS+ countries in the field of education and enlightenment through the media.
Informational cooperation with universities and other institutions helps to meet the challenges of building and promoting a positive image of educational institutions in the BRICS countries as industry leaders in the global context.
The meeting was held in Rio de Janeiro, with opening remarks made by the leadership of the institution. The Russian Consul in Rio de Janeiro, Andrey Petrov, also attended the public signing of the cooperation agreement as a guest.
Cristina Silveira, head of strategic projects at the Ministry of Education in Rio de Janeiro, praised the opportunity to work with TV BRICS.
"We are very pleased to cooperate with TV BRICS, because it is important for our students to be fully immersed in the culture of the country. Our students, students of the Russian-Brazilian Intercultural School (Colégio Estadual Coronel Otávio Pinheiro) in Rio de Janeiro will not only learn Russian language, but also learn more about Russian culture, politics, geography, history and art of the country. They will be exposed to culture through television. This is a way for us to show our students what kind of TV content the Russian audience is interested in. Intercultural exchange and intercultural communication between our countries is very important, because we learn about you and you learn about us, our life, our country"![]()
