TV BRICS launches a new season of "Russian Celebrities Cooking Chinese Food"
TV BRICS launches season 4 of "Russian Celebrities Cooking Chinese Food", which allows viewers to cook Chinese national dishes for themselves. The chef of a Chinese restaurant in Moscow, Liu Jizhong, and host Olga Danka, will share simple recipes made from affordable products.
The new season of the joint project between TV BRICS and China's main print media, Zhenminjibao Online, kicks off on Saturday 1 October, the People's Republic of China's foundation day. New episodes will be released on Saturdays and Sundays at 10:00, 14:00 and 20:30.
In 12 episodes of the programme, Russian stars will cook sea bass with broccoli, stuffed aubergines, tomato soup with fish, fruit in caramel and much more under the guidance of chef Liu Jizhong. The programme will feature figure skater Victoria Sinitsina, gymnast Angelina Melnikova, director Aleksey Frandetti, actors Sergey Druzhko, Elvira Bolgova, Natalia Dievskaya, Daria Egorova and Lika Rulla, singers Rodion Gazmanov, Yaroslav Bayarunas, Aleksandr Kazmin and singer Irina Saltykova.
The Chinese version of the programme will be available on the official resources of Rénmín Rìbào Online, and will also appear on the Chinese version of the TV BRICS website.
The cooking show first aired in 2019. All episodes of the first three seasons can be viewed on the TV BRICS website.
The aim of the project is to share with viewers simple recipes for traditional Chinese dishes that any housewife can cook from food bought from the nearest supermarket. The programme opens up to Russian viewers the world of authentic Chinese cuisine from different regions of the country.
