A reception to celebrate South Africa Freedom Day was held in Moscow

The South African Embassy in Russia hosted a reception to celebrate South Africa Freedom Day, which commemorates the country's first democratic elections in 1994. The Freedom Day event was attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps, businessmen and government officials.

South African Ambassador to Russia Mzuvukile Maqetuka said that the partnership in BRICS today is a pledge of leadership and a catalyst for mutually beneficial sustainable development.
