Pushkin's poems were performed to the music of the people of Russia
The State Kremlin Palace hosted the Festival of the All-Russian Orchestra of National Instruments of the Peoples of Russia in honour of Alexander Pushkin's 225th birthday.
Russian balalaika, Altai topshur and Buryat chanza, Yakut khomus and Chechen pondar, Kalmyk dombra, and Ossetian dala-fandyr. The slender rhythms of Pushkin's poetry are accompanied by melodies played on folk instruments of the multinational country.
