Belarus and Brazil express interest in diversifying trade
The Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry called Brazil a key trade partner of the country in Latin America
Minsk hosted a meeting of business representatives with Brazilian Ambassador to Belarus Bernard Georges Leopold de Garcia Klingl. They discussed the prospects of increasing trade turnover between the states. This is reported by BelTA, a partner of TV BRICS, referring to the press service of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI).
According to BelCCI Deputy Chairman Elena Malinovskaya, Brazil is a key trading partner of the republic in Latin America. According to her, the country is also among the top ten foreign economic partners of Belarus in the world.
"Potash and nitrogen fertilisers form the basis of Belarusian exports to Brazil. I am convinced that expanding the nomenclature of supplies of both Belarusian goods to Brazil and Brazilian goods to Belarus is in line with the interests of the two countries," she said.
The Brazilian ambassador drew attention to the high quality of Belarusian products and emphasised the readiness to develop cooperation. In addition, during the meeting, he answered the questions of businesses regarding the entry into the Brazilian market and work with local counterparties.
