Dongyi Street is listed as a state-level tourism and recreation district in the PRC
Dunyi Street in the Dong'an district of Mudanjiang, which is known for its special Russian-Chinese atmosphere, has been listed as a state-level tourism and leisure district, as reported by Dongbeiwan, a partner of TV BRICS.
The day before, China's Ministry of Culture and Tourism announced the second part of its list of state-level tourism and recreation districts, which includes Dongyi Street in Mudanjiang (Heilongjiang province).
The pedestrian street is almost a kilometre long - 946 metres. It was based on elements of the cultures of the two countries, Russia and China. Seven landscapes, popular with the peoples of the Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China, have been reproduced in the street.
