Iran province exports non-oil goods worth US$180 million in seven months
The products include cement, clinker, thermal coal, peas, tomatoes and others
Officials of Iran's Sistan and Baluchestan Province announced that the region has exported non-oil goods worth about US$180 million from customs posts and border markets in the first seven months of the current Iranian calendar year, which runs from 21 March to 22 October 2024.
Director General of Industry, Mine and Trade Organisation of Sistan and Baluchestan province Iraj Hassanpour, stressed that more than one million tonnes of goods were exported during the period, up 13.8 per cent in weight and 11 per cent in value compared to the same period last year. This is reported by Mehr News Agency, a partner of TV BRICS.
The exported goods included various products such as cement, clinker, thermal coal, peas, tomatoes, dates and other agricultural commodities.
These goods were shipped to several countries including Pakistan, China, India, Kuwait, Azerbaijan Tajikistan.
