Iranian engineers develop three advanced ultrasonic devices

Locally made products aim to support domestic industries

Iranian specialists have successfully designed and produced three advanced industrial devices using ultrasonic technology. This is reported by IRNA, a partner of TV BRICS.

According to Iran’s Office of Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy, a domestic company has developed an ultrasonic sieve, ultrasonic welding machine, and ultrasonic homogeniser – all adapted to local industrial needs.

The company’s CEO, Mohammad Afzalzadeh, explained that work on prototypes began in 2013, with products now entering commercial production. The ultrasonic sieve prevents clogging of meshes using high-frequency vibrations, useful in powder paint, pharmaceutical, food, and metal industries.

The welding machine enables polymer joining without adhesives or heat, supporting sectors like automotive, packaging, and appliances. The ultrasonic homogeniser facilitates mixing and chemical processing in pharmaceuticals and research.

Afzalzadeh noted that these innovations reflect years of industrial collaboration and highlighted the company’s ambition to contribute to both domestic manufacturing and export markets.
